Walk for Sichuan Earthquake Relief

5月31日,由大波士顿区中华文化协会领导组织的四川地震救灾募款健行活动非常成功,当天有三千多人参加这项活动,募捐的款项超过10万元,大波士顿区中 华文协将定于本周五,晚间7时,在文协大楼举行募款交接仪式,把这笔款项按照捐款人的意愿,分别交给红十字会;或者慈济,欢迎新闻媒体莅临报導。

After the successful "Walk for Sichuan Earthquake Relief" on 5/31, at the Boston Common, the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association would like to invite you for the funds transfer meeting this coming Friday at 7pm in GBCCA building, 437 Cherry Street, Newton.

As you all know, there were over 3000 walkers participated the event.  We have collected more than one hundred thousand dollars of pledges and contributions.  This amount will be given to Red Cross and the Tzu-Chi in this meeting.  GBCCA would like to have the honor of your presence in witnessing the transaction.
